Welcome to the website of the Alabama Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (ALRID).

ALRID is an affiliate chapter of the national Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). 

We are a growing, professional organization whose mission and purpose are to be the source for success for Alabama's Interpreters, Transliterators and members of the Deaf Community.

At the 2012 Annual Business Meeting, ALRID members elected a new Executive Board and set up ALRID Regions with Regional Representatives. Congrats to our leaders!  Check out the About ALRID section to learn more.
